北海道地名 幌/別/内 がなぜ多いかについて♪ [環境]
札幌のテレビをみていたら、
やたら「幌」がつく地名が多く、
他に「別」や「内」も多いので

これらは元々アイヌ語がルーツの地名で、
「幌＝ポロ(広い)」
「別＝ペツ(川・大きな川)」
「内＝ナイ(川・沢)」

どんな市町村でがあるかいうと
●幌→札幌市、南幌町、羽幌町、幌延町、
幌加内町、士幌町、上士幌町、
浦幌町、美幌町
●別→登別市、紋別市、江別市、当別町、
秩父別町、遠別町、初山別村、
浜頓別町、中頓別町、士別市、
芦別市、更別村、幕別町、本別町、
陸別町、湧別町、津別町、別海町。
●内→真駒内…、木古内町、黒松内町、
岩内町、歌志内市、稚内市、

アイヌ語だと、
札幌（サッポロ）は、元々「札幌別
（サッポロペツ）」だったのが、
略されて札幌になり、アイヌ語の
「sat」（乾いた）、「poro」（大きい）、「pet」（川）
に当て字したものだそうです
「川が乾いている」→「大きな河原を持つ川」
という意味に取られ、
その川を日本語訳したのが、
札幌市内を流れる「豊平川」だそうです。
〈豊平川〉
「poro」＝大きい。
対して、「小さい」は「pon」で、
漢字になると「本」になることが多く、
十勝地方にある「本別」という町の名は、
この「pon」＋ 「pet」。
長万部（おしゃまんべ）もアイヌ語の
「オサマムペツ」
「長万別（川尻が横になっている）」
もしくは、「オ・シャマンベ」
（ヒラメのいる所）の意味で、
「別」から「部」に変化したものだそうです。
登別は「水の色の濃い川」、
紋別は「静かな川」、
芦別は「樹木の中を流れる川」
また、稚内や苫小牧のような地名の
「ナイ」や「マイ」という発音は
「小さな川」を表し、
苫小牧は「ト・マコマナイ」。
「ト」が沼、
「マコマナイ」が「奥にある川」という意味。
真駒内は「ト」がないので、
「山奥から流れてくる川」というような意味。
なぜ北海道にはアイヌ語の「川」に関係する
地名が多いかというと、
アイヌの人たちの生活の基盤は川が中心で、
川は、鮭など重要な食糧が獲れる場所であり、
かつ交通の要所でもあったので
とても重要視されていたそうです。
アイヌ文化というと北海道限定の文化と
考えがちですが、
アイヌ語研究の第一人者である
金田一京助博士は、
福島県あたりまではアイヌ文化圏
であったと述べてるそうで、
例えば、青森や岩手にはアイヌ語と思われる
「内」や「別」という字がつく場所があり、
山形県には庄内平野があり、
アイヌ語で滝のことを「ショウ」または
「ショー」と発音し、
庄内とは「滝のある川」という意味
だそうです。
また、青森の「ねぶた祭」の「ねぶた」も
アイヌ語の「ネプタ」が起源であるという説
もあり、これはアイヌ語で「なんだあれは」
という意味になるといいます。

I think what you published was very reasonable. However, think
on this, what if you added a little information? I
am not suggesting your information isn't good, but what if you added a title
